Virginia Roper Wilcox

Services for Virginia Roper Wilcox will be held Monday January 27, 2020 at 3PM at The First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Rick Mann officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons Chris King, Lee Wilcox, Kyle Wilcox, Rhette Murphy, Joe Evans and Stephen Coffee. Virginia passed away on January 24, 2020. She was born on June 2, 1932, in Thomasville to the late Robert Roper and to the late Sallie Faustine Warren. She was married to the late Foy Lee Wilcox. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Ms. Wilcox worked for Warners for 44 years as a inspector. Survivors include her children, Kathy W. Smith, of Thomasville, Beverly (Al) Clay, of Thomasville, Tony (Pam) Wilcox, of Thomasville, Randall (Jeanne) Wilcox, of Thomasville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Jim Roper and sisters Arlene Jackson and Winifred Andrews. She was also preceded in death by daughter Linda Diane Wilcox. The family will receive friends 2-4pm Sunday, January 26 at Allen and Allen Funeral Home.
