Services for Virginia G. Zalumas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Thomasville First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Andy Daughtry officiating. Mrs. Zalumas passed away peacefully, at 3 p.m. on August 24, 2019; she was 97 years old. Virginia was the loveliest of souls. A lifelong member of First Baptist Church Thomasville, she was an active influencer in her community. Whether it was singing in choir, helping her family in their businesses, or baking her famous chocolate chip cookies, Virginia was a darling to everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all. She was a loving Mother, Grand Mother, Great-Grand Mother and Great-Great-Grand Mother. She married John Jordan in 1937 and they had two children; Dorothy Jean Jordan-Wiggins and James Milton Jordan. John Jordan passed away in 1966. Virginia married Jack Zalumas in 1967, and he passed away in 1993. Virginia is survived by her two children, Dorothy, who is married to James Wiggins and lives in Thomasville, and Milton, who is married to Angela Marie and lives in Albany. She has seven grandchildren; Jimmy Wiggins, Lorie Wiggins-Garrett, Lisa Wiggins-Reynolds, John Jordan, Ashley Jordan-Lawver, David Jordan and Harrison Jordan. She has twelve great-grandchildren; Ginny Ballard, Tom Hodges, Ross Hodges, Angela Marie Wiggins, Gabrielle Marie Wiggins-Smith, Rachael Marie Wiggins-Roberts, James Michael Wiggins, Jordan Reynolds, Will Reynolds, Sarah Rapp, Lucas Jordan, and Jessica Jordan. Virginia has nine great-great-grandchildren; Wyatt Ballard, Baylie Ballard, Hall Hodges, Anne Marie Hodges, Grace Marie Smith, Elanor Marie Smith, Margaret Marie Smith, Luke Crider and Kaladin Reynolds.
