W. Ray Clark

Graveside services for W. Ray Clark of Thomasville are at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mr. Clark died July 19 at Hospitality Care Center. Born August 11, 1912 in Taliaferro Co., GA he was the son of the late Charles Berry and Nell Roe Clark. He was married to Irene Singletary Clark who preceded him in death. He was a home builder in Thomas, Leon and Dade Counties and helped establish the current building codes in Thomas Co. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Earl Brill of Thomasville, son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Julia Clark of Havana, FL, daughters and sons-in-law, Raynell and Jerry Brailsford of Cooper City, FL, Mabel and Richard Spivey of Okeechobee, FL, Debbie and Deuel McElreath of Thomasville, seventeen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Robert Clark and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Thomasville-Thomas County Habitat for Humanity, Inc., 4131 GA. Hwy. 122, Thomasville, GA 31757.
