Wade H. Scaffe

Memorial services for Wade H. Scaffe of Thomasville will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday February 3, 2018 at Pineland Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Cooper officiating. Mr. Scaffe passed away on Thursday February 1, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on February 2, 1938, he was the son of the late Wade H. Scaffe and Mildred Claridy Scaffe. Mr. Scaffe worked at WPAX and WTUF radio stations for many years and was known as Amen Charlie on the Lazy Len Bluegrass Show on Saturdays. He was also a member of Pineland Baptist Church. He is survived by his companion of 31 years Janet Rome of Thomasville; daughters Sandette Scaffe McWhorter of Cumming, GA and Vikki Scaffe Fraker of Ball Ground, Ga; grandchildren Taylor McWhorter and Mason McWhorter; brother Dick Scaffe of Winter Haven, Fl. His family will greet friends at the church immediately following the service.
