Services for Walker Dewey O?Neal, 80, of Cairo, are at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2007, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Rollins and Rev. Danny O?Neal will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. O?Neal died October 25, 2007 at his residence. Born April 27, 1927, in Jesup, he was the son of the late Rev. Elmer E. and Goldie Louise Roberson O?Neal. On October 14, 1943, in Thomasville, he married Edna Frances Shelton O?Neal, who preceded him in death. Survivors include sons, Larry O?Neal of Chipley, Fla. and Don Oliver of Benton, Ark.; daughters, Peggy Kerr of Chipley, Fla., Teresa Smith of Marianna, Fla., and Janelle Archer of Benton, Ark.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence O?Neal of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Christine NeSmith of Thomasville, Evelyn Rollins of Summerhill, S.C. and Wedena Oliver of Harleton, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special friend, Linda Hargraves. He was preceded in death by sisters, Margie Adeline O?Neal Chastain and Bernese Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 818 Gordon Ave., Thomasville, Ga. 31792.
