Wallace Cecil Hayes

Wallace Hayes escaped to Heaven on April 7, 2018 from his earthly home. He was met by Jesus, family and friends. No more pain, no more tears, only happy days. A heavy equipment operator by trade, his favorite pastime was fishing and camping. He was either a joy or a pest to everyone he met and brightened many lives with his teasing and foolishness.
He made a difference in the lives of each person he met and he never met a stranger. He temporarily left behind his wife, Diane, 2 sons, Scott (Stephanie) and Steven; grandchildren, Barry & Christi Singletary, 2 great-grands, Bentley & Christian; 2 brothers, Bruce, Terry (Judy) and sister Cherry; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, on April 21 at Dawson Street United Methodist Church in Thomasville, officiated by Pastors Matt Barlow and Shane Lavvorn.
