Wallace Hayes escaped to Heaven on April 7, 2018 from his earthly home. He was met by Jesus, family and friends. No more pain, no more tears, only happy days. A heavy equipment operator by trade, his favorite pastime was fishing and camping. He was either a joy or a pest to everyone he met and brightened many lives with his teasing and foolishness.
He made a difference in the lives of each person he met and he never met a stranger. He temporarily left behind his wife, Diane; two sons, Scott (Stephanie) and Steven; grandchildren, Barry and Christi Singletary; two great-grands, Bentley and Christian; two brothers, Bruce and Terry (Judy) and sister Cherry; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 2:00PM, Saturday, April 21 at Dawson Street United Methodist Church in Thomasville, officiated by Pastors Matt Barlow and Shane Lovvorn.
