Services for Wallace Leon Chastain, 78, of Thomasville are at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 7, 2011 at Victory Baptist Church. The Rev. Gary Holland will officiate and interment will be at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Mr. Chastain passed away March 3, 2011 in Moultrie. Born January 17, 1933 in Ochlocknee, he was the son of the late James Louie Chastain and Mary Lucille Watson Chastain. He was married to Doris Jeanette Shiver Chastain who survives. He was a veteran and retiree of the US Army. Other survivors include daughter Patricia Chastain Roberson and husband David of Thomasville; grandchildren, Shawn Chastain of Maine, Christopher Chastain of Indiana, Brandon Roberson and wife Tanya and Casey Stanford and husband Josh, all of Thomasville; great grandchildren, Madilyn Roberson, Luke Roberson and Andrew Stanford; sister-in-laws, Delma Chastain, Jessie Chastain and sister & brother-in-law, Billy & Geneva McGarrah. He was preceded in death by son Kenneth Chastain; sister, Grace Henderson; brothers, Jack Chastain, Bill Chastain, Leroy Chastain and Burness Chastain.
