Walter F. Taylor

Walter F. Taylor, 86, died in Thomasville on December 2. Walter grew up in DeLand, Florida and graduated from Stetson University and the University of Florida. He worked as a marine engineer with Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company. He moved from Newport News, Virginia to Thomasville in 1999. He was an Episcopalian and Anglican. He was active in the organization of All Saints Episcopal Church in Thomasville. He resided in Plantation Manor where he received loving care. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elinor Bolton Taylor, his sister-in-law, Annette Clark, and his brother-in-law, Lewis Clark, all of Thomasville. He is also survived by, his brother, Sidney H. Taylor, his nephews, Harry Floyd Taylor and Richard W. Taylor. The funeral service will held at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, in DeLand, Florida Monday, Dec 9,2002 at 10:30 am with interment to follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
