Wanda Cannon Kelley, born July 19, 1964 in Annapolis, Maryland passed away July 5, 2023.
Wanda graduated from Thomas Tech with a degree in Computer Science. She worked at Win Gap Farms, Ray Bracken Nursery and was a skilled painter; when she wasn’t a homemaker.
She loved to fish! It had been so long since she was able to go. One of the last clear things she said was that she was going fishing.
She had a green thumb and loved to be outside. She passed this passion on to both of her children, which she was most proud of. However, if you wanted to see her light up get her to talk about her grandsons!
If you really got a chance to know her you couldn’t help but to love her. She had the biggest heart. When she loved she loved hard and deep. She never met a stranger and would talk to everyone! She had a heart to serve and help those in need! She’d be quick to put herself out to help someone else.
Wanda is survived by: Ronald Kelley (husband); Kristie and Jamie Horton (daughter and son-in-law) of Lenox, GA; Justin and Whitney Cannon (son and daughter-in-law) of Cairo, GA; Grandsons: Barry Joiner, Jr (BB), Noah Curby (Bug), Eli Lee Cannon, Cason Joe Cannon; Brothers: Noel Cannon, Daniel Cannon and Wellington Cannon; Sister-in-law: LeighAnne Cannon; several nieces and nephews and very close friends.
She is preceded by her mother (Phyllis Boyette Cannon), father (William Homer Cannon), sister (Pamela Cannon) and brother (Christopher Cannon)
Funeral will be held:
Monday, July 10, 2023, in the Chapel at Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm with the service following at 2:00 pm. Graveside will be at Little Ochlocknee in Ochlocknee, GA immediately following the service.
Pallbearers: BB Joiner and Noah Curby, Ron Kelley, Barry Joiner, Reid Ansley and Justin Wilson
