Wayne Albert Pitman

Funeral services for Wayne Albert Pitman, 83, of Thomasville will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ralph Fudge and Rev. Hugh Rockett will officiate and interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Livingston, Mickey Parker, Tommy Duren, Joe Rosales, George Stephens, John Rich, Rollins Stewart, and Alan Pitman. Mr. Pitman died on October 8, 2016 in Monticello, Florida. Born June 29, 1933 in Miami, Florida, he was the son of the late Albert John and Lillian Pyle Pitman. On February 26, 1960 in Miami, Florida, he married Faye Tanner Pitman. Mr. Pitman retired from Pitman Photo, Inc., a family owned business until 1970. He had church memberships in Christian & Missionary Alliance in Miami, Westside Baptist and Fredonia Baptist in Thomasville. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Miami and Thomasville. Surviving are his wife and daughters, Elizabeth Pitman Livingston of Thomasville, Deborah Pitman Salido of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Vicki Lee Pitman of Loxahatchee, Florida and a son Albert John Pitman and his wife Diane of Pembroke Pines, Florida. Also surviving are grandchildren, William A. Livingston and his wife Susan, Sarah E. Livingston, Alan L. Pitman and his wife Candy, Kimberly Pitman Reisgo and her husband Willy, and great grandchildren, Cooper and Payton Pitman, Tyler and Ashley Reisgo, Darius and Isaac Boerner, Madison Short, and Christina Salido. Other survivors include a sister, Dorothy Pitman Darley of Citrus Springs, Florida and nieces Donna Johnson, Diane Ward, Doris Parent and a nephew Don King. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Wayne Pitman, his step mother Margaret G. Pitman and a step brother Robert Werner. The family will receive friends from 7 PM to 9 PM on Monday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
