Wayne Spencer Wright

Memorial services for Wayne Spencer Wright, 77 of Ochlocknee will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Wright passed away January 9, 2013 at Archbold Hospital. Born September 30, 1935 in Deep Valley, PA, he was the son of the late Rex William Wright and Lillian Louise Shumate Wright. He was married to Laurine J. Edwards Wright, who survives. Mr. Wright was a drilling superintendent for the Dual Drilling Company; he was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the VFW Post 1075 in Harrison, MI. He was the starting quarterback for the first football team at Harrison High School in Clare County, MI, and he led that team to the state finals. The school system has the Wayne Wright Bell at the stadium in his honor. Other survivors include his children, Dr. Joanne Riebschleger of East Lansing, MI, Rex Wright of Del City, OK, Bradley Wright of Harrison MI, Mark Wright of Harrison, MI, Joseph Wright of Homeworth, OH and Dr. Bruce Wright of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Amy Gerkin, David Riebschleger, Laura Harvey, Jacqueline Moore, Teresa Hoffmeyer, Leland Wright, Natalie Letchworth, Wesley Wright, Olivia Wright, Mary Grace Wright, Andrew Wright, Kaitlyn Wright, Austin Wright, Samuel Wright and Luke Wright; sister, Catherine Foltz of Cameron, WV.
