Wilda Cleo Herndon

Memorial services for Wilda Cleo Herndon, 86, of Thomasville are 2:00pm, Friday, September 17, 2010 at Morningside United Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Allen Hartsfield will officiate. Mr. Herndon passed away September 15, 2010 at Archbold Hospital. Born April 10, 1924 in Brooks County, he was the son of the late A.D. Herndon and Alice Adams Herndon. On July 2, 1950 in Pavo he married Rosalyn T. Herndon, who survives. Mr. Herndon was a veteran of the US Navy, was retired from the Thomasville City School as a Vocational Supervisor, and the Thomas County School Board, he was a member of the Gideons International and Kiwanis. Other survivors include Ray Hilton & Linda Herndon of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kimberly & Jason Hand, John & Jessica Herndon and Katie Herndon. He was preceded in death by daughter Robin Herndon and brothers, Harry Herndon, Mervin Herndon and Clewis Herndon. Guests may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com
