William Eugene Abbott

William Eugene Abbott, 69 of Thomasville passed away April 15, 2021, at his residence. Born June 8, 1951 in Bainbridge, he was the son of the late Carl Abbott and Mary Phillips Abbott. On September 23, 1988 he married Pamela Denise Lancaster, who survives. He worked for Jim's Downtown BP and loved cars, wrestling and his children and grandchildren. He is also survived by his children, Christopher Eugene Abbott of Panama City Beach, Fl., Kristi Abbott Reid of Thomasville and Debbie Ann Strickland of Thomasville; 7 grandchildren and sisters, Fran Willis of Alabama and Hazel Pedersen of North Georgia. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers & sisters. The family will receive friends & family 1-3pm, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
