William Boyd Kelly

Services for William Boyd Kelly, 83, of Ochlocknee, are 4:30 pm Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Pastor Mack Luke will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Kelly died March 9, 2008 at Golden Living Center. Born November 20, 1924 in Colquitt Co., he was the son of the late Robert B. Kelly and Della Johnson, who preceded him in death when he was only 3 weeks old and Minnie Rooks who raised him. On December 23, 1944 in Moultrie he married Eula Mae Plymel Kelly, who survives. Mr. Kelly was a member of New Growth Baptist Church and owned Kelly's Landscaping and Kelly's Flee Market. Survivors include son Dennis Kelly of Ochlocknee daughter & son-in-law Sabra & Ray Foy of Thomasville, grandchildren, Delisa Foy Higgs and husband Barry, Dale Foy, Darrin Foy, and wife Wendy, Karen Hammonds, Chris Kelly and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Robert Lee Kelly, Dallas Kelly, sisters, Jewell Beason, Verna Bailey and Gladys Williams. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
