William Homer Brewer, III, born in Mobile , Alabama December 2, 1939.

Parents, William Homer Brewer, Jr. of Cardwell, Missouri and Virginia Evelyn Jordan from Covington County, Alabama.

A service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11 AM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 10:30 AM prior to the service.

Bill grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where he met and married in December 1959, the love of his life, Mary Diane McAlpine. In 1963, he and Diane moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where they lived until his retirement from the printing industry in 2000.

At retirement, he moved to Spring Creek on Lake Seminole, in Donalsonville, Georgia where he enjoyed bass fishing and golf with his friends from Spring Creek Baptist Church. In 2018, he moved to Thomasville, Georgia where he was a member of FBC Thomasville.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Diane, son Mark (Robin) and daughter Deborah Smith; grandchildren, Greg (Tessa) Newsom, Lindsey (Colin) Kelley, Liz (Brad) Piazza, Chris (Kaitlin), Paul (Rachael), John (Maddie), Rachel (Josh) Streets and Kellie along with 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Anita (Allen) Stephenson.

He will be remembered by all who loved him for his "great stories and Alabama/Auburn jokes". RTR
