William Frederick

William Ott "Bill" Frederick, 59, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away June 21, 2023. He was born October 9, 1963 in Thomasville, Ga to Elizabeth Stegall Frederick ( Deceased) and Bruce Michael Frederick ( Deceased ). Bill grew up in Colonial Heights, Virginia and later resided in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Bill liked art and was a skilled art framer. He enjoyed hosting family gatherings. Bill also liked antiques and operated an Antique store in Petersburg, Va for several years. He loved being in the company of his friends and especially his dearest and oldest friend Patrick Pike. Bill liked flower gardening and most recently enjoyed Orchids and building hanging houses for them. Bill also was a very social person and enjoyed fidgeting with gadgets, biking and playing poker among others. Bill was a very kind and loving person and had an infectious smile, which helped him earn the nickname " SUNSHINE ".

Bill is survived by brother Bruce Michael Frederick Jr ( Vicki ), and twin brother Raymond Edward Frederick; niece Cailey Ann Frederick; nephews Paul Michael Frederick and Adam Stegall Frederick (Emma); great-niece Charlotte Ida Frederick; stepmother Eleanor Daily and family; sister-in-law Melanie Boggs (Darrell).

Visitation will be from 5-6pm on Friday July 7, 2023 at Allen & Allen Furneral Home, 110 W. Hansell St, Thomasville, GA. Interment services for William Ott Frederick will be held graveside July 8, 2023 at Laurel Hill Cemetery at 10:00 am with Darrell Boggs officiating.
