William "Peepa" Harvey

William “Peepa” Harvey, 76 of Mexico Beach, Florida, formally of Thomasville, passed away October 6, 2017 in Panama City, Florida. Born May 11, 1941 in Lakeland, Florida, he was the son of the late Raymond L. Harvey and Evelyn Kennedy Harvey. He was married to Geraldine Harvey for 54 years, who survives. Mr. Harvey was a veteran of the United States Navy and he owned and operated the Badcock Furniture Store in Thomasville for 35 years. After his retirement, he and his loving wife moved to Mexico Beach where he loved to fish and hunt and sit on the beach together and watch the beautiful sunsets. He loved the Atlanta Falcons, but most of all, he loved his Girls. He is also survived by his daughter, Rhonda Harvey Whitfield of Thomasville; granddaughter, Madyson Whitfield; sister, Gail Reed of Palm Bay, Florida; brothers, John L. Harvey and Kenneth Harvey, both of Plant City, Florida. He is also preceded in death by son, William Keith Harvey. Memorial contributions may be made to Fredonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1855 Fredonia Rd, Thomasville, Ga 31757. No services are planned at this time.
