William Henry Terry, Jr.

A graveside service for William Henry Terry, Jr. of Thomasville will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Mississippi Street. The Rev. Keith Coward will officiate. Mr. Terry died August 8, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born March 8, 1916 in Ray City, GA., he was the son of the late William Henry Terry, Sr. and Nebbie Luckie Terry. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn Pearson Terry. Mr. Terry graduated from the University of Georgia in 1938 and was a member of Dawson Street United Methodist Church. He was the owner of a food and soft drink business. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Terri Terry of Macon, GA, Zack and Susan Terry of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Nebbie Terry and Bill Maslin of Starkville, MS and Teresa Terry of Macon, GA, nine grandchildren, sisters, Betty Cox of Thomasville and Marilyn Calkins of Tucson, AR.
