Services for William Joseph Bynum, Jr. of Pelham are Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 4:00PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gary Holland will officiate and interment will be in Big Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tobie Passmore, Timothy Jones, James Pierson, James Smith, Rick Trim and Shane Buckner. Honorary Pallbearers are David Bynum, Jr., Keith Beckwith and James Chaswick. Mr. Bynum died January 4, 2006 at Grady General Hospital. Born July 28, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona, he was the son of the late William Bynum, Sr. and Mary Lembke Bynum. He was married to Janet Hall Bynum who survives. Mr. Bynum was a maintenance supervisor at NAPCO. Other survivors include sons, Shawn McKinney of Cairo and Austin Bynum of Pelham, daughters, Leslie Humphries, Cassaundra McKinney and Ashley Bynum Peters, all of Pelham and Christina Bynum Brown of Virginia, brothers Joseph C. Bynum of Boise, Id, Duane Bynum and David Bynum both of Thomasville, sister and brother-in-law, Ernie & Dewalla Beckwith of Ochlocknee and fourteen grandchildren. A sister, Sandra Youngblood, preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Vicki Lutes, P.O. Box 1999, Thomasville, GA 31799.
