William Henry Leverett, 74, of Thomasville, passed away on September 13, 2024. Born to Paul and Gladys E Leverett on March 28, 1950, in Quitman, Georgia, William was a proud Army veteran who served his country with honor and dedication.
William was a loving father to his children, Tammy McGee of Thomasville and Billy Leverett of Kansas, as well as his step-daughter Jaime Cooper of Atlanta. He leaves behind a cherished niece, Tara Pavao as well as several beloved grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his sister Rachel Swilley.
William was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sylvia Kay Leverett, and his siblings, Walter Allen Leverett, Buddy Leverett, Maggie Foy, and Pauline Cowart.
A funeral service to celebrate his life and legacy will be held at a later date.
