William "Jack" McCullers

Funeral Service for William J. McCullers will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Rev. Tim Phillips officiating. Interment will be at Elam Community Baptist Church Cemetery. William "Jack" McCullers passed away on January 4, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born in Adel on July 10, 1947, son to the late Claude and Donnie Thomas McCullers. Jack was an Army Veteran and was a part of the 82nd Airborne. He graduated with an associate degree from Thomas College and went on to work for Cone Machinery and retired with Clever-Brooks. On July 19, 1968, Jack married Cecilia Plymale, who survives. He was also a member of Boston Baptist Church. Jack enjoyed wood working, coin collecting, hunting, fishing, and quilting by hand. Other survivors include his sons William "Jason" McCullers of Tampa, and Jerry Len McCullers (Debi) of Boston; grandchildren Bailey McCullers, Seth McCullers, Leo McCullers, Gage McCullers (Mayghan), Courtlen Long (Thomas), and Zebadiah McCullers; great-grandchildren Amelia McCullers, Hazel Lynn McCullers, and Tolen Long; and brother Tommy Holton of Daytona. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara Faye "Bootsie" Rogers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
