William Henry Miller

Graveside service for William Henry (Ray) Miller, 87, of Thomasville will be 2:00PM, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Tomberlin will officiate. Mr. Miller passed away September 8, 2015 at his residence. Born December 1, 1927 in Monticello, Florida, he was the son of the late Joseph T. and Julia Howell Miller. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. After retiring from Joan Art Mills, he worked at Winn Dixie and Publix for several years. He was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted father and husband and loved his family unconditionally. He was married to Beverly Merle Duncan Miller on June 26, 1954, who preceded him in death. Survivors include children, Debra Miller Meadows (Randall), Stephen Ray Miller (Patsy), Donna Miller Holbert (Rick); 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Mary Miller Odom, Eva Miller Hobbs, Ilene Miller Johnson, Berleen Miller Johnson, Bennie Miller Cone, Josephine Miller Cone and Sue Miller Hoover; brothers, Joseph Miller and Thomas E.
