William Franklin Owen Iv

November 24, 1996 — January 13, 2018

William Franklin Owen IV, 21, entered into his eternal resting place on Saturday, January 13, 2018. He was born in Bremerton, Washington on November 24, 1996 the son of William Owen III and Jodie (Sanchez) Owen. He moved to Georgia in 2001 and graduated from Thomas County Central High school in 2016.
He was passionate about playing inside linebacker for his high school football team and will forever be known as #47. He also participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes FCA and the Future Farmers of America (FFA) throughout high school years. He was FFA senior chairman in 2015-2016 and received his state degree in 2016. He worked at Capitol City Mitsubishi in Tallahassee where he was forever grateful to Sean Feddon for granting him the opportunity to do what he loved as a mechanic when no one else would.
Bill loved the outdoors and many will remember him with dirt on his face and mud up to his truck bumpers. There was no such thing as driving around puddles, only through them. He spent most of his time on dirt roads, hanging out with his friends, and working on his truck (because of those dirt roads). Fishing, hunting, riding 4 wheelers, and his new pastime riding horses were just a few of his favorite things. He gave of himself constantly because his heart was big enough for everyone. He was to everybody, exactly what they needed, which meant something different to each and every person he met. To his dad he was his renegade, to his mom he was her adventurous, compassionate and dedicated boy. To his sister Sophie, Bill was her superhero, and to his brother Cooper, he was the fearless older brother who was never afraid to try something new. To his girlfriend Jessi Jones, he was the man who found passion in the things she loved. To his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins he was the Joy in their hearts a warm hug in their arms. Bill will be remembered for his infectious smile and loving and caring personality. Thankfully, Bill left his family a little blessing to help ease their pain and fill their hearts…a baby boy or girl expected in July 2018 with his girlfriend Jessi Jones.
He leaves behind many people who loved and admired him dearly including his mother Jodie (Sanchez) Owen and father William Owen III along with his brother Cooper and sister Sophia. His grandparents Robert Sanchez Jr, Annette Stecker, Richard and Linda Owen and great-grandmother Ruth Ybarra. His girlfriend Jessi Jones and their expectant baby due in July 2018. His aunts: Teresa Ferguson, Judy Shaffer, Heather Martinez, Carrie Owen and Shannon Sanchez. His uncles: Ron Owen, Roger Owen, Nicholas Owen, Jeremy Sanchez, Danny Martinez and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Patricia Lea Owen and Christie Sanchez as well as his uncle Leslie Owen and Aunt Christine Owen.
A visitation will be held at Allen and Allen Funeral Home on Friday January 19, 2016 from 6 to 8pm. Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church sanctuary on Saturday, January 20 at 3 pm.
