William Lindsey Parker

Funeral services for William Lindsey Parker, 80 of Boston, will be 2:00 PM, Monday July 10, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Steve Brooks will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Parker died on July 7, 2017 in Thomasville. Born February 21, 1937 in Coolidge, he was the son of the late James H. and Carrie Belle Thomas Parker. Mr. Parker was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from Coats & Clark. He was married to Billie Jean Cone Parker, who survives. Other survivors include children, Gary Parker and wife Sheila of Tallahassee, Lesia Surrett of Lake Park, Greg Parker and wife Rebecca of McMinnville, Tennessee, Todd Gibbs and wife Frankie of Pavo, Donna Singletary of Thomasville, Kim Harrell and husband Ronald of Boston, daughter-in-law, Kim Gibbs of Whigham, 23 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers James Parker and wife Betty of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Donald Parker and wife Diana of Richmond, Utah, sister Audrey Dollar of Cairo and his special dogs, Rusty and Jo. He was preceded in death by son Jeff Gibbs and brother Bennett Thomas Parker. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
