Funeral service for William Clifford Robbins, Jr., 75, will be held at 1PM on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Father David Koetter will officiate and interment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Mr. Robbins passed away on October 20, 2015 at his residence. Born February 5, 1940 in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late William Clifford Robbins, Sr. and Louise Sweatman Robbins. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and worked with Hills City Auxiliary Sheriff’s Department in Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed wood working and was a member of the Georgia Association of Woodturners in Thomasville, Tallahassee and Tifton. He was an avid fisherman, loved cattle and horses and especially working quarter horses. He graduated in 1958 from Hillsborough High School in Tampa and loved his classmates. Bill was a very loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was a member of St. Augustine in Thomasville and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Robbins was married to Jane Smith Robbins, who survives. Other survivors include daughters, Kristy Robbins of Riverview, Florida, Kathy Sirianni (Drew) of Tampa, Florida and Amber Little of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Margie Erwin (Dale) of Seminole, Florida and Pam Powell (Jim) of Deland-Orange City, Florida.
