William Roy Welch

Funeral services for William Roy Welch, 73, of Pelham will be held Satuday at 11:00AM at Braswell Funearl Home with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Revs. Ralph Harrell and Rev. Paul Gauntt will officiate. Mr. Welch died Thursday at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Mr. Welch was a native of Mitchell County and a retired Farmer and member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nannie Clyde Carter Welch, a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Kathy Welch, daughters and sons-in-laws, Mary and Lamont Davis, Patty and Albert Bufford all of Pelham, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Randall Carroll of Rose Hill, GA and a daughter, Linda Willis of Pelham, two sisters, Mattie Mae Golden of Eau Gallie, Fl and Neva Gregory of Pelham, and a brother Albert "Rabbit" Welch of Pelham. Grandchildren Robby and Maria Willis, Chris and Angie Welch, Wally Bufford, Albert Bufford, Jr. , Lynn Burgess, Diane Russell, Rory Nesmith and 10 great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM today at the Funeral Home.
