Services for William Sidney Copps, Jr. of Boston are at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at Boston Church of God. Rev. Ray Hunt and Rev. Jimmy Lott will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Tim Coram, David Tinsley, Sr., Johnny Hagan, Stan Clements, David Tinsley, Jr. and Robert Bruce. Mr. Copps died September 16, 2003 at his residence. Born February 3, 1936 in Jacksonville, Fl., he was the son of the late W. S. Copps, Sr. and Virginia Elizabeth Morris Copps of Dixie, GA., who survives. He was married to Joan Brown Copps who survives. Mr. Copps was a retired farmer and a veteran of the United States Army. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, William Scott and Deanna Copps of Dixie, GA., Robert and Sheila Copps of Boston, Ga., son, Jason Copps of Augusta, GA.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Paula and Tom Warner of Orange Park, Fl., Marilyn and Al Lewerenz of Miami Lakes, Fl.; grandchildren, Samantha Copps, Rainey Copps, Beth Copps, Scotty Copps and Henry Copps and several nieces and nephews.
