Dr. William "Bill" A. Trevejo age 92 of Thomasville Ga. Passed away quietly at Five Star Premier assisted living of Hollywood Fl. He had been living there since Jan. of 2017.
Surviving family members are son William G. Trevejo & wife Nicole A. Trevejo of Fort. Lauderdale Fl & Paul A. Trevejo of Thomasville Ga.
Born in Havana Cuba, March 22, 1927 son of Pilar, who was a housewife & Guillermo F. Trevejo, who was an administrator for the Royal Bank of Canada in Havana Cuba. He was married to Concepcion P. Morgado, (deceased August 29, 2014, mother of William G. Trevejo & Paul A. Trevejo)
Bill studied medicine graduated from the University of Havana in the early 1950s. He interned at The Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati Ohio, and he was a resident of Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 1964. He and his wife Concepcion suffered greatly under the Cuban Communist Revolution & reluctantly left in 1962 leaving with literally "nothing but clothes on their backs.”
Bill was an Anesthesiologist at John D. Archbold Hospital for many years.
He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to laugh, enjoyed Cuban Cuisine, Big Band music, and loved animals. He will be dearly missed & remembered.
Services will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 at 2PM at the St. Augustine Church in Thomasville, Ga. The family will greet friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
