Vernon Fletcher will officiate and interment will be in Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Mr. Carter died September 4, 2005 in Tallahassee, FL. Born May 31, 1945 in Thomasville, GA he was the son of the late Jamie and Lucille Chastain Carter. He was married to Joanie Tucker Carter who preceded him in death. Mr. Carter was Baptist and a meat cutter for Harveys Food Store. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Willie Carter Jr., and Robin of Coolidge, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Tina Carter Brumblow and Thomas of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Melanie Brumblow, Dylan Brumblow, Chelcy Baker, Carolyn Carter, Emily Danna, Angela Danna; sisters, Shirley Carter of Valdosta, GA, Debra Bentley of Coolidge, Pauline Dowdy of Seguin, TX; brother, Herbert Carter; and aunt Louise Chastain both of Ochlocknee, GA.
