Graveside services for Willie Lee Russell Mathews of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 6th Street. The Rev. Keith Hill will officiate. Mrs. Mathews died Mar. 29 at Camellia Gardens of Life Care. Born September 6, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Cora Lee Massey Thompson. On December 9, 1934 she married Robert M. Russell who preceded her in death and in 1984 she married E. W. Mathews who preceded her in death. Mrs. Mathews was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a Beautician. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Sheila Russell of Atlanta, GA, Robert and Cardin Russell of Thomasville, Gary and Mary Ann Russell of Hiawassee, GA, Phillip and Geraldine Russell of Thomasville; sister, Mrs. P. L. Crawford of Waycross, GA; grandchildren, Ron and Regina Russell, Rick and Chasity Russell all of Atlanta, GA, Lee and Jodi Russell of Boston, GA, Ashley Huffman of Lubbock, TX, Pamela and Craig Heyward of Atlanta, Greg and Krysta Russell of Havana, FL, Stewart Russell of Hiawassee, GA, Velvet Russell of Atlanta and thirteen great grandchildren.
