Mrs. Willie Mae Day Miller died at the age of 96 on July 17, at Camellia Gardens. Born February 11, 1914 in Mt. Olive Ms, she was the daughter of Beulah & William Edward Day and was married to Edward Delphin Miller, who all preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Mt Olive High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. Always a lover of books and reading, she had a career spanning three decades of teaching and serving as a school librarian. She was a charter member of Brookwood?s faculty serving as its first English teacher and librarian. Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Bette Day and William Charles Adams, two grandsons and wives, Drs. Jeff and Lisa Rawlings, Steve and Lori Rawlings and five great grandchildren. A devoted daughter, loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed by her family, numerous friends and caregivers. Her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at the Mt.
