Willie Ruth Lamar

Willie Ruth Lamar, 83 of Thomasville, GA passed away on March 20, 2019. Her services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Rick Mann will officiate. Interment will be at Big Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Lamar was born on April 30, 1935 to the late Sherman Allen McDougale and Rencie Elizabeth Hampton. Mrs. Lamar had been employed by Coats and Clark. She was a loving mother who doted on her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Willie Ruth is survived by her daughters, Martha (Bobby) Clements of Pavo, Joyce (Irvin) Waltman of Pavo and Melissa Lamb Weaver of Thomasville; her son, Robert S. (Teresa) Lamb of Merrillville; her sister Doris Vinson of Boston; her brother, Bobby Joe (Debbie) McDougale of Thomasville, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wesley Leroy Lamb, Jr.; sons, Wesley Michael Lamb and Wallace Craig Lamb; brothers, Willard McDougale and Buddy McDougale; sister, Lea Johnson; brother, Sonny McDougale.
