Services for Willie T. W.T. McKenzie, 76, of Thomasville are 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Kevin Odom will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Thomasville Fire Department will act as pallbearers. Mr. McKenzie died July 4, 2010 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 10, 1934 in Sopchoppy, Fl, he was the son of the late Wattie McKenzie and Alice Greene McKenzie. He was married to Betty Crum McKenzie, who survives. Mr. McKenzie was a retired firefighter and founder of McKenzie Tree Service, he was a member of Faith Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and taught senior adults Sunday school class. Survivors include sons, Travis McKenzie Marsha of Leesburg, Mark McKenzie Debbie of Thomasville and Wyman McKenzieTawanna of Coolidge; daughter, Vivian Hamilton of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jarrett McKenzie, Jeremy McKenzie both of Kennesaw, Daniel McKenzie, Matt McKenzie, Caleb McKenzie, Bernie Hamilton, all of Thomasville, Summer Addison of Cairo, Marci Strickland and Stephanie Moody, both of Thomasville; great Grandchildren, Memphis McKenzie, Harlan McKenzie, Isaac Addison, Luke Addison, Payton Moody, Ian Moody and Reagan Moody; brothers and sisters, Everett McKenzie of Sopchoppy, Fl, Maxine Bussell of Tallahassee, Fl, JC McKenzie of High Springs, Fl. Carolyn Clark of Atlanta, Carl "Buddy" McKenzie of Sopchoppy, Fl, Ellen Daaboul of N. Richland Hills, Tx and Diane McKenzie of Orlando, Fl; 28 nieces and nephews. Mr. McKenzie was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Pauline McKenzie. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Anice King, Hazel Fowler, Hilda Mathers and Gail Bohannon.
