Services for Willis Abram Bill Bozeman, 84 of Pavo will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 10 at Antioch Baptist Church where he was a member. Rev. Kelvin Spurlock and Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate and interment will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Bozeman passed away peacefully June 7, 2012 at home after an extended illness. Born June 2, 1928 in Coolidge, he was the son of the late Doss Iverson Bozeman and Sally Elizabeth Meads Bozeman. On July 30, 1949 he married Belma Storey Bozeman who survives. Mr. Bozeman worked in Okeechobee, Fl for Renalds & Smith Dragline and Lightsey's Fish House in the early 60's. He then returned to Thomasville in the early 70's and worked for County Farm in 1976 then moved to Pavo to farm with his brother where he stayed until his retirement. He then was a loyal Walmart Door Greeter for 15 years. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Brewer and his staff; special friend and nurse Sherry McMillan; Hospice of Southwest Georgia and Home Health Care of Thomasville. Other survivors include his children, Dennis Ray Bozeman and wife Linda of Pavo, Doyle Abram Bozeman and wife Betty Ann of Thomasville, Diane Riggs and husband Doug of Thomasville, Denise Miller and husband James of Pavo; grandchildren, Linda Mae Herndon, Dale Courson, Glenda Moore, David Bozeman, Amy Davis, Doss Bozeman, Chad Bozeman, Sammy Riggs, Kristie Crupper, Sarah Miller and Clifton Miller; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers & sister, Cleveland Bozeman and wife Faye of Pelham, Eugene Buck Bozeman and wife Mary of Pavo, Wandell Shirley and husband Don of Albany and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Odis Bozeman and Elery Bozeman and sisters, Winfred Greene and Gladys Redding. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Guests may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com
