Winston Daniel Danny Parker

Services for Winston Daniel Danny Parker, 69 of Quitman will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Boston Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Phillips and Rev. Keith Wise will officiate and interment will follow in Boston Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Parker passed away October 27, 2013 at Brooks County Hospital. Born February 4, 1944 in Pavo, he was the son of the late Ernest R. Parker and Marie Carlton Parker. He was married to Linda Joan Wilson Parker who survives. Mr. Parker was a veteran of the United States Air Force; was a member of VFW; was a member of Boston Baptist Church and enjoyed golf and fishing. Other survivors include stepsons, Paul Johns and wife Stacey of Jacksonville, Donnie Johns and wife Olivia of Perry, FL; 6 grandchildren; brother, Talmadge Parker and wife Barbara of Thomasville; sister, Joyce Irick and husband John of Naylor, GA; brother, Allen Parker and wife Linda of Thomasville; sister-in-laws, Mary Lou Parker of Thomasville and Glenda Simpson of Perry, FL and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Rudelle Parker and step-daughter, Sheron Boyd. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Tuesday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
