Born January 11, 1941, to Bernice Adams and Robert Brannen Robinson Jr. (R.B.) in Pavo, GA. Withla excelled in basketball at Pavo High School and was voted Miss Pavo in 1956. She graduated from Mercer University where she was a Chi Omega sister. She met and married Robider Markwalter and together they raised two daughters in Macon, GA. While living in Macon, she was an avid volunteer at St. Joseph's Catholic School where her daughters attended, serving as the school librarian, room mother, and many fundraising committees. She also devoted much time to civic organizations such as the Museum of Arts and Sciences.
In 1989 she married Julian Robinson and returned to the Thomasville/ Pavo area. She was happiest on the farm where they enjoyed time together with a large extended family and friends. Her gardening skills were enjoyed by all. She was a member of Pavo Baptist Church and happily served the church selflessly in many ways throughout her life.
She is most remembered for her love, generosity, and selfless giving of herself to everyone who met her. Her deep faith and daily devotion to serving Christ was evident in the way she lived each day with a smile and focus to make others' lives better.
Her biggest passion was most definitely her family. She was happiest when being together with her daughters, stepdaughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They brought her immense pride and joy and she expressed her love to them constantly.
She is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Julian Robinson.
