Services for Wylda S. Wurst, of Meigs are 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate and interment will be in Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Mrs. Wurst died January 26, 2008 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 12, 1927 in Coffee Co., she was the daughter of the late H.L. Starling and Allie Purvis Starling. On December 12, 1948 in Ray City, Ga she marred Clifton Parks Wurst, who survives. She was a retired accountant and a member of Ochlocknee Community Civic Club. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law Deborah Wurst & James Kaufmann, of Santa Maria, Ca, sons & daughters-in-law, Stephen L. & Julie Wurst of Columbus, Ga, John D. II & Julie Wurst of Glen St. Mary, Fl, Dr. Jeffrey D. & Kimberly Wurst of Birmingham, Al, grandchildren, Dana Wurst Mangum, Robert Wurst, Erin Wurst, Abigail Wurst, great grandchild, Peyton Mangum, sister & brother-in-law, Juanelle Starling & Donald Wilson, of Ray City and brother & sister-in-law, H.C. & Penny Starling, of Largo, Fl. She was preceded in death by brother & sister-in-law, Dr. Robert J. & Frances Starling. Memorials may be made to Ochlocknee Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 69, Ochlocknee, Ga 31773.
