Wynton Ladd Rogers

Graveside services for Wynton Ladd Rogers, 69 of Pavo will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Lebanon Cemetery. Rev. Larry Harris and Rev. Tim VanLandingham will officiate. Mr. Rogers passed away June 6 at his residence. Born November 18, 1944 in Pavo, he was the son of the late Thilbert Rogers and Loette Shelley Rogers. He was married to Patricia Wells Rogers who preceded him in death. Ladd loved to fish, loved animals and especially loved his nieces and nephews. He last worked part time at Dollar General in Pavo and enjoyed his time there with his coworkers. He especially enjoyed working and laughing with his friend, Susan Rich. He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie L. Rogers of Pavo; brothers, Jerry Rogers of McRae and Jimmy Rogers (Beth) of Moultrie and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, William Rogers and brothers, Jan Rogers, and Chris Rogers. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Tuesday, June 10 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
